On Tuesday, October 15, the 78-year-old music icon and her 38-year-old music executive partner had a PDA-filled date night at the 2024 show in New York City.

The couple snuggled together while posing on the pink carpet, with Edwards even kissing her cheek at one point.

For their red carpet appearance, Cher donned a plum blazer over a mesh top, paired with multicolored leather barrel pants that showcased zipper details. She enhanced her look with metallic accents, including multiple belts and rings, along with a striking pair of statement earrings.

The star's hair and makeup added a striking contrast, channeling classic Victoria's Secret Angel vibes with her blonde, wavy locks and a fresh, pink-infused glam look.

Edwards opted for a sleek black suit paired with a crisp white undershirt, complemented by a quirky Vivienne Westwood tie and ‘90s-inspired oval sunglasses.

The stylish duo, who have been romantically linked since November 2022, stayed close as Cher chatted with pre-show host Olivia Culpo, holding hands while her responses brought smiles to her adoring boyfriend's face. 

“I’m really excited about the fact that it’s all women this time,” Cher told Culpo, referring to the show's first-ever all-female musical lineup. “They’re all fantastic; I’ve met them, and we had a wonderful time over the last few days.” 

“I’m truly proud of it. I’m proud that women are finding ways, not in every way, but in many ways, to create their own destinies,” she added.

Culpo then referred to Cher as a “fashion icon, among other things,” which received an enthusiastic nod from Edwards.

The rapper reacted as the pop icon downplayed her performance look, offering a modest response. "It’s not much, it’s just OK,” she remarked about her outfit, eliciting laughter from her boyfriend. “It’s not a big deal.”

"You’ll just have to wait,” she continued. “Don’t expect too much; I’m going to go out there and do my best.”
